  • Competitive Salary: Starting at $81,185.00 per annum.
  • Based: Papunya
  • Term Type: This position is Full-time, Fixed term role until 30 June 2027, with the potential for extension.

Who We're Looking For

Are you an experienced Essential Services Officer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys being the trusted point of contact for ensuring the safe, reliable delivery of power, water, and sewerage services - all while maintaining strict compliance with relevant legislation and standards? This may be the job for you!

To successfully undertake this role, you'll need the following:

  • Proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues within your area of expertise, drawing on experience, training, and guidance from PowerWater technical coordinators as required.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and mentor fellow team members to foster independence and increase local ownership of service.
  • Literacy, numeracy and computer skills to collect data, complete standard reports and correspondence.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a range of cross-cultural situations providing advice in relation to power, water and sewerage matters.
  • Ability to work independently with responsibility for own work outputs.
  • Essential Requirements:

Northern Territory Driver's Licence (or the ability to obtain)

Ability to obtain and maintain NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card

Satisfactory completion of Criminal History Check

Relevant plant and equipment tickets

Current White Card
